Auditions

Auditions for the Capital City Girls Choir are held each January, May and August. Auditions are 10 minutes and prospective choristers will be asked to sing a prepared song without accompaniment, sing scales, repeat rhythms, match pitch, and do other age-appropriate musical exercises. Those auditioning for Chorale and Cantabile will be asked to sight read to assess ability. To register for an audition, please click the button below to complete our online registration form.

Thank you for your interest in Capital City Girls Choir at Meredith College. At this time, we are only accepting audition requests for rising 4th & 5th graders. All other inquiries will be kept on file, and should circumstances change, we will contact you. Otherwise, we look forward to discussing choir with you in the Spring of 2018 for our 2018-2019 season.
