Some great tips here – I do love a themed trip such as volunteering or hiking as for once you can forget the glam evening wear and focus more on the experience.

This would probably happen to me too! I suck at over-preparing. I barely check weather forecast for the week period. I was in Hong Kong in March and I expected it to be super warm, but in fact it was chilly and I ended up wearing the same pair of jeans for a week, until I bought the new ones.
